While I have a DOD:S map contest in the works, hopefully many of you will participate in the contest.

I’m interested to hire DOD:S mappers that is willing to make DOD:S maps for me and I will pay for your work. -=SS=- is an older clan, average age on the clan is about 35+ and we just want to enjoy the game. I’m asking for the best of the best to remake or new creation some awesome DOD:S maps. So we can enjoy the game like the old days on DOD:S.

Here are some DOD 1.3 classic maps, I believe we all had wonderful time playing them, lots of fun. Most of them are lost forever, it's sad to see all time favourite maps are gone.

No stock maps so we don’t get into legal problems.

Everybody (well, every self-and-peer-respecting mapper) knows that porting somebody else's work is wrong. I also do believe that the original author's maps do count as intellectual property according to UN's World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO link (http://www.wipo.int))...

...as well as whatever country the original author and the porter lives in (183 countries are members of the WIPO... including Canada, the U.S., and what looks like all the European countries).

Porting maps without permission from the original map creator is illegal.

If anyone is thinking of porting a map over, please make sure you do gain permission first.

Hi All,

I don’t want anyone to port other mapper's map without permission; I will see what I can do to get permission. New creation map might be the only option for now and the list of DOD 1.3 maps will provide you great deal of references and excellent ideas to plan out your map.

Hopefully I can find some of the original mapper.
