Some changes since last post:

-buildings less "boxy"
-a new street
-some high r_speeds spots improved
-details added so the village seems more "natural"

Looks good i would add some more detail though and maybe a bit more color

I totally agree with ya!!! That's why I try to make a good looking map that is also fun to play... Anyway I'm gonna release it soon (probably next week) so you could try it and tell me what you think about the gameplay.

I'm not making a map to demonstrate how good I am at mapping some guys are far better than me!!! I'm quite a noob in mapping as I started 3 months ago but I want to make a good map. That's all...

I like your map and I like your approach by saying "you are just here to do what you enjoy, not to be better than others" - This is the attitude everybody loves around here, keep it up :)

Looks like you have put a lot of effort into that map, stick a mini-map in and it will be ready for release :)

To be perfectly honest the atomsphere is rather bland...almost nothing.

Could use some texture work and new lighting/sky.

Ok for the atmosphere but you haven't seen all the map yet so you can't really tell... I mean the few screens aren't so representative... but I'll try to put some more "feeling" in it.

Well, after some considerations I've decided to turn the map to a night map. Actually this is what I wanted to do when I started the project but I gave up as I was not really satisfied...

But I think the atmosphere is far more interesting and the fun/gameplay is improved if it is at night with full moonlight.

wow, looks good; You've improved the detail in places, I'm finding it hard to think of some things wrong with it..

Maybe stick in a ruined tank somewhere? :P

Improved upon greatly...

Maybe go with a chemille type of theme? Stick with the brushwork but use some chemille textures. Add some more of those trees with no leaves and such.

I really like the lighting you got there. How about some soft/subtle light lamps on buildings? Or some streetlights.. not too bright though, it has a nice errie mood to it currently.

I like it. Just get rid of those Kami-textures and use new ones. Just like ender said. Chemille got some great texture set for you.

I won't include one as it wouldn't fit the scenario ;)

At this point I think that I shouldn't add anymore models. I've got to be careful with th e_polys...

I like the building in that pic, but it looks like the orange portion is flush with the outer wall on at least one side of the building. I think it would look better if that entire portion were inset a few feet, to help seperate it from the rest of the building, perhaps with a little patio or raised walkway around it, and maybe some supports and such.
