I don't know if it's only me, but I think there are still a few people mapping for day of defeat classic, and it seems like this forum has mostly migrated to source-only(seems most of the time when I ask a question nowadays people think I'm talking about source, even if I put classic in the name of the post)...so I was thinking, maybe it would be wise to set up a Mapping sub-forum for all questions related to Day of Defeat 1.3(or 1.6, or whatever Steam calls it). I don't mean to say people here aren't helpful, like I used to think ;), but it sucks having to clarify repeatedly that I'm not asking about Source :p That "tutorials" forum still seems mostly geared toward classic, at least, which is good, because I value those tuts :)

Yeah true, but I doubt it will really get used. 99.8% of people here have converted to source and theres only maybe 1 or 2 that might be mapping for classic still.
Its a source forum now, so we've moved with the times. Like all previous dod versions, people still play the classic versions then a couple of months down the line they dissapear. So, not really any point.
I think theres some classic forums still out there. Theres still a lot of sites with classic mapping advice and tutorials still on them so with a bit of googling I am sure you can find what you need.
For now, just put (classic) at the beginning of the post or state that its for the previous hammer version.

yep, or you can just tag on the prefix [1.3]
I have replied to some of your posts regarding 1.3 mapping, and I still do it myself.
