Official Map overviews
Does anyone know how these overviews were done? Like what filter or whatever in photoshop, cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatful :)

Or am I way off and these were hand drawn?

Looks like brushwork for the texture, or just a premade background. The rest of it is simple line drawing and text.

try the texture filter in photoshop, like a lite crumpled paper texture maybe?

Look in the valve wiki; I remember there's a very comprehensive tutorial in there

Alright well thanks for that link Ca- I used his scanlines and recreated one which looks kinda like the source ones. I used a crumpled paper fill @ 39% opacity. Color doesn't match, but it's kind of close.
