Talshiar released this a while ago, but I fixed it up. I added the default scope to the scoped version, but with a brand new high resolution skin. There are also hi poly p & w models that I worked really hard on. The default scope and bayonet had deleted backfaces so I had to fix that :\ I'm happy with the result.
I've also enclosed some custom sounds for your enjoyment :)
Credits are in the zip :)

seksy, now if only you could replace the blade bayonet with the pigsticker spike bayonet...

thats the distortion the HL engine causes... thats why the DOD team made their models w/ the fat fronts.

anyhow, the skin is nice, but IMO it doesnt compare to Dillinger's.

I prefer Dillingers wood, but I like the metal, looks neat. Can't use both due to the different textures, so I'm sticking with Dillingers. Still looks nice though.

Would you believe that I'd just done this exact same thing today for my own use? Seeing as you've obviously put more work into it than I did, I'll be using yours instead. I like the wood, and your metal is always nice.

thanks for the comments.. I personally don't like how the dod team made the fronts of their weapons fat like that.. I did change the model somewhat, but I didn't want to compensate for it to the extremely like the dod team did.. so I did enlarge the end... just not very much.

Actually Bots, I have a version of Rusty's LE that was converted to a LE No.5 Jungle carbine as an M1 Carbine replacement. I was hoping to find someone to recompile it with 1.0 hands and possibly move the origins a bit closer to center. It is a nice model with a good animation to cover the semi-auto/bolt problems.

Would you be interested?

make it much bigger at the end, until it has a more conical shape, you have to compensate for the erroneous z-axis rendering in v models

it looks good, the only thing is, right behind the bolt, the skin gets a bit pixilated. but it still looks good.

Excellent, but the wood is fubared near the edge of the screen :\

guys the front looks fine, remember 3.1 models, they looked like that, and nobody had a prob wiht them.. bots.. youve done a great job.

the only gripe is the wood at the end of the gun. kinda blurred and pixeld

The scope on the original scoped enfield in this pack is so much better than default, you shouldn't have changed it. Sure it's massive but it was better. Anyway, i use these models already before i saw the thread, they kick ass, good job.
