Been working on this for a while , it's a camoflage style 42.

Reworked the bullet casings, and the wood butt stock and grips.

I really don't like to put down others' work, so I hope you will take this as the constructive criticism it is.

In the v_model for some reason it just comes off as looking to me a lot like the discolorization brought about by severe rusting. It just seems to have the look and texture of a really rusty gun that somebody took a "quick wire brush and oil" to.

In other words, when I opened the picture my first impression was "that gun needs severe cleaning". I think it mostly has to do with the fact that the metal is still shiny but the "paint" is not.

Well I tried leaving the model dark, but I could make it lighter to show the camo better. On second thought i will try to lighten up the paint graphic first.

No insult taken on the comment. I'm open for suggestions.

It looks alright I guess. I was never a fan of camo guns.

In the third person shots, it looks like a slug.

Thanks for the constructive criticism Coyote, need the ideas. As far as Craford goes, yeah most camo from a distance would look like a slug, but your comment is not wanted here, go troll some body elses threads.
