Made a custom model for day of defeat source and it doesnt seem to work! Where do I put this inside the dod directory? Thanks.
Btw the skin works all right it is just the custom model that is not working. I thought it would be the same as cs and css but it doesnt work. The skin shows up on the old weapon .
I want to make the US smoke nade as the axis smoke nade. I sometimes get confused which one is which since I have quick switch and I dont pay attention and I would think it would also be a great help to other people... Thanks.
I kinda copied this stuff from the dod:s forums on steam >.>.

It might not be working due to VAC reasons.
I don't know the full extent of the rule, but I'm pretty sure that custom models are classified as cheats under VAC now.
I might be wrong, I 'm at work and cant' check.

You can use this great reskinning job from HappyFunBall and Wile E. Coyote which will solve your distinction problem between the german nades :) Heres the link to the post http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58698

You can not use custom Player models in a VAC protected server. You should be able to see your custom models in your own created server.
