hi all,
so i've been trying to dl the source sdk by adding -beta sdk to the shortcut to steam on my desktop.
the result is: cs:s and dod:s both show that they're updating, and that's it.

after the update, selecting tools from the menu just brings up the tools tab, which shows that i haven't installed the server for css for dods.
how do i get this sdk?

did you buy JUST dod:s? or did you get silver pack with dods, hl2, css?. cause im pretty sure that you dont get the SDK with dod:s. if you look under the tools tab there should be a 'Source SDK' option, if not, then you didnt get the SDK with whatever package you bought. if you have it there, but its grayed out, then you need to install it, and if its yellow (i think thats the colour) then you should be able to run it.

yeah, i only have dod:s and cs:s which i got via direct download through steam windows client (which was another download).
