The one in the SDK is for source.

Open your games in Steam look for tools, see if you have the SDK available to download. If not, you did not buy a complete game package to get it.

It's for developers and modders, and comes with the complete tools needed to mod games, etc.

sorry, but it's wrong,
I bought dod-s, but there is NO sdk,
maybe because it's currently only a beta and there will be a final sdk for dod-s, but I'm not sure about this

but there must be also a sdk for dod-s only owner!

Perhaps it's only included in the hl silver and gold package?

so valve it's your turn

You need HL2. The core of SDK is based on the HL2 Source engine. It is not available to just DoD Source.

LOL

dod-s is a STANDALONE game,
they SOLD it as a standalone game,
so it's a "complete game package"!!!

when there is a dod-s sdk, and there is a standalone dod-s,
why should it not available for the dod-s owner?????

You need HL2.

there is the source-engine,
and the games like hl2, cs-s, dod-s,
they use the engine, but there are standalone games

dod-s downloaded some "source ... .gcf" files, but no hl2 stuff

there is no reason, why you should need hl2 for the dod-s sdk

Look, I am just giving you the reason why you don't have it, like you asked.

Please don't cry to me, cry at valve.

------------------------------------------------------

You could use the .vtf plugin for photoshop to edit models in there, if you have that. But you wont be able to compile and make maps without SDK I believe.

------------------------------------------------------

If all you want to do is skin you need.

1: Download GCFScape (google it)

2: Download, vtfedit, look here for it, http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=38

3: Use them to view the .gfc files and .vtf files in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\ The mod you want.gfc

4: Extract the relevant VTF file

5: Use Photoshop with the VTF plugin to edit the skin and save.

http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?c=154

6: Put your edited skin in the relevant folder (if you're unsure look at the file path within the GCF file and create the relevant folders)
