what is this pack?

What is this pack that some of the US soldiers have on the back of thier belts?
It kind of reminds me of the packs that were used in Nam, but I've never seen anything like it used during WWII.

I was thinkin it might be some Brittish pouch, but I'm not that familiar with Brit gear.

thats a Musette pack. Carrys extra ammunition, maps, flashlight, candy bar, pancho, etc. Basically the Soldier's "shool bag" of tricks.
These two guys have one, but rigged on their webbing.

it looks to small to be a massette bag, plus infantry usually had the Haversack, like alot of they guys do in the game.
And I've never seen the massette bag attached to the belt.
and if they did intend to make that ha massette bag, then they should change the skins, cause it isnt historically correct.

so it cant be a messette bag,
here is a pic with me with other WWII reenactors, I have a haversack on, and one guy has a Messette bag, I circled both, as you can see in the pic, the messette bag is too big to be the bag in the game
