ok when i look for the models and stuff i go into the material file and there is
Decals
Temp
Vgui:when i go in her there isnt skins or anything

the texture files are hidden inside the day of defeat source.gcf file, you have to get a program such as GCFScape to read those files and extract the textures from them. (although make sure you close Steam first or you won't be able to open the .gcf files.)

it wont let me extract them into photoshop and what type of file do i use like vtf. or what??

search around the forum for a .vtf plugin for Photoshop, I believe it was linked to on this forum a while ago.
