door sounds

I was looking in the dod source/sounds directory for door sounds, and I couldn't find any. They are likely inherited from HL2 base files, but where can I look to find out whats allowed and will work. When I select func door rotating I look through the sounds for open and close, and there is nothing there.

Same here...people who have doors on their map would probably be most helpful..FD, cheese sarnie

after you've made the entity a func_door or func_door_rotating, there should be a parameter that asks for "stop sound" and "start sound" From there you should be able to browse the HL2 sound library.

Believe me, some nice door sounds are there. Ill check for the names.

Recommended sounds for wood doors -

DoorHandles.Locked1 (for locked doors)
Doors.FullClose3( for closing wooden doors)
Doors.Move3 (opening/moving)
Doors.Move4 (opening/moving)

Yeah filter is the key maybe I need to open my eyes a bit eh.
