Ok sorry for asking so many questions lately, but anyways-

With fog, what values make visibilty smaller, which make it larger?

lower start value opposed to higher start value

and

lower end value opposed to high end value

(basicly asking which combination of those gives you less/more visibility?

start value - distance from the player that the fog starts
end value - distance from the player that the fog ends

the values are all world units. so if you put a start value of 512 and end value of 2000, the fog will start 512 units away from the player, and end - or become totally opaque - 2000 units away.

so if you want nearer fog, reduce both values, and vice versa.

ANd if you want to make dew effect or just a very thin fog just have a very close start value and a very high end value.

nice explaination pedroleum

you can test some values ingame.

fog_overide 1 to turn the feature on (its considered as a cheat)

fog_start "value"
fog_end "value"

r_farz "value" distance at witch the engine stops rendering the world (make it farther than the fog end) -1 to turn it off.
