Can you add grenades to the gear in a certain position via german_gear.vtf or what?

I want to add grenades like the soldier in this pic has them: http://easycodod.honortolkien.org/german_poster.jpg. I've tried doing it with the german_body.vtf file but it looks really fake lol. So can this be done?

if you modify the player model, yes.

Well you could just do a texture..but it would be flat..and look fake..lol

yea I tried that. I used it for about 10 minutes and got sick of it. lol
