Official maps to be released when...?

Noob's first post here, so I'm not sure if I'm even posting in the right section. Aside from the custom maps (which are all looking very promising, btw! :)), I wanted to know if the Valve/ DoD:S team are working on more of the official maps that were released when DoD went Gold with the original Half-Life. I've comprised a list of my all time favorite maps to play when DoD was just in it's infancy all the way up to when it went Gold v1.0 and then finally to Source. Are there any polls set up so DoD players can vote to see if a possible map will be released next? :D

Official maps currently in rotation on most servers for DoD:S ...

Anzio*
Avalanche*
Donner*
Flash*

Official maps from DoD Gold v1.0 not yet released that I'd LOVE to see on DoD:S soon :) ...

Caen 2 (CLASSIC!)
Cherbourg (CLASSIC!)
Dog 1
Glider (para-map)
Hedgerow (para-map)
Heutau
Koln (CLASSIC!)
Kraftsoff
Oslo (CLASSIC!)
Overlord (CLASSIC!)
Schwetzingen
Snowtown (CLASSIC!)
Thunder
Zafod

Custom maps from before DoD went Gold v1.0 not yet released that I'd LOVE to see on DoD:S soon :) ...

cr44
Hill (CLASSIC!)

If my list is incorrect, by all means, feel free to correct it. :p

Oh, and there was also a map that was an instant favorite WAY back during DoD's infancy years. It was objective based where the allies had to confiscate axis documents and return them to a getaway truck, while the axis' objective was to blow up the allies getaway truck. Anyone remember the name of that map?

Boy am I with you Triplesecs like most other people on the forums who are absolutely bored with the stock maps but we gotta wait.

There's only one answer to your thread title:

"When they're done"

Dont bet on getting any maps from Valve.
Nothing has been said that they are going to release any.

And if they should happen to release some, then merry f'in Christmas!

They've already said in a radio interview that they're trying to mix old classic areas of different maps together to form new maps...

Still I don't see why anyone could possibly expect new maps weekly when it took a couple months to make those we have today...

Play some custom maps if you really can't hold on to your horses anymore...

It was the radio interview from the PCGamer Podcast. Here is a link for the mp3 of it all, listen around 32 minutes 25 seconds into the show (the interview doesn't last that long).

Why do you seem to think the dev team is evil..I've seen several people say crap like this..such as "they won't ever release the SDK"

I'm sorry but the dev team has always been making and removing maps..they won't stop now

i subscribe to the PCG podcast... and the DoD boys said they would combine old and new ideas, grabing to best of classic maps and reworkin them into new material.

i also wouldnt be surprised if they just rebuilt a few classics like seg3, koln or caen.
