Went to request a login for the site plan section recently. Is the site still active? I remember viewing it some time back and found it's an amazing collection of bunker plans.

By the way, this site is a collection of amazing german bunker references including plans. Not to be confused with the old "Bunkers" DoD fansite.

Are you specific looking for construction plans/ blueprints /layout of the bunkers? Or pictures of the bunkers in general?

Plans - I've got some, but looking for a few more. Looking for a sort of generic medium/small observation bunker plus a few MG tobruk/tobrouk plans.

After lookin through some sites i came to the conclusion that there are a freakin lot of different types of bunkers; regelbauten and sonder bauten in a bewildering variety.

These are not the ones you are lookin for, unfortunatly, but maybe have a future intrest....

i posted this link in the houses thread, but the site also has loads of bunker models, all accurate to real life ones i think. some are replicas of certain specific bunkers at least, like the longues sur mer observation bunker.

Thanks guys, these are great. A few I'd seen before, but most not.

bunkers.be by the way has a LOT of bunker plans - quite detailed info. At least last time I checked. One needs a login to access it (or the plans anyway) now.

Yea specifically the "Typology" section of users.pandora.be/bunkers - need a login. I recall it's chock full of bunker plans.

--- EDIT ---

My email to the site to request a login just bounced. Does anyone by chance have a login to the site plans (Typology) area I could use?

If I was to make an educated guess i'd say that Mr Waldo might well be making some sort of beach map? Going by this thread and another one he's made in the modeling forum I could be right? then again this is pure speculation.

There is another source for plans of these bunkers/regelbau.
Its availble in militärarchiv freiburg, under the reference RH 11 III.

http://www.bundesarchiv.de/bestaende_findmittel/bestaendeuebersicht/index_frameset.html
Search for rh 11.

So far the good news, the bad news is that these are not available for viewing online, one can see/copy only in the flesh, so to speak. Maybe another forum member knows more, or has experience with these archives. (one of the history buffs maybe....)

A few plans that are for viewing:

That would be a proper educated guess :^) Because I'm no longer working for Valve, this is purely a personal project. Basically I'm working on the beach section at VN60 (Omaha beach, Fox Green).

Dunno if that's the right one tho.

Ranson, I think you've hit the jackpot! :)

Indeed Ranson that does seem to be the Jackpot.

Furyo's actually working as a bit of an intermediary with the site - hoping to get some specific info on the bunker types used at WN60 (Omaha, Fox Green). Anything to prevent the "two massive bunkers on either side of the map" syndrome :^)
