A bit of help on the map name DB...

First thing to the mods: could you please clean it up? It'd be really appreciated.

Second thing:
I just added alot of map names to the list because regardless of a map was converted or not, the name is still used. And it should be listed to leave out any confusion for the future. So I went to game-monitor.com and wrote down all the custom map names that I haven't added to the list yet.

Thing is... is that alot of the maps listed on servers playing them have left me to be a bit... confused.

Here's the added map names (excuse the prefixes and affixes):
[REL] dod_barndestroy (??)
[REL] dod_forestfortress (??)
[REL] dod_froust (??)
[REL] dod_pipes (??)
[REL] dod_snow_ojebyn (??)
[REL] dod_thelongest (??)
[REL] dod_wizard (??)
[REL] dod_goodmorningtown (??)
[REL] dod_harrington (??)
[REL] dod_hill (??)
[REL] dod_kalt (??)
[REL] dod_mud (??)
[REL] dod_norms (??)
[REL] dod_pen+islaser (??) <- remove the "+", bad word
[REL] dod_runrunrun (??)
[REL] dod_snow_sniper (??)
[REL] dod_sturm (??)
[REL] dod_tower (??)

[REL] ag_resistance (??)
[REL] fy_koth_rod (??)
[REL] thebeach (??)

Okay. Kalt, Harrington and Hill_classic?!?!?! Where'd those come from?!?!? (Yes, these maps were listed as being on servers!)

They're all affixed with (??) which means I don't know if they're "made for DODS" or conversions from other Games/Mods.

So if anyone knows the answer to any of them, please let me know!

Yes there are a lot on that list that I don't have. If you happen to have these files or know where I can get them let me know and I'll throw them up on www.dodsourcemaps.com for everyone to download.

I was thinking of doing it myself... but... you could go here:
http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?qry=&game=dod2&order=map
(I have it ordered by map name)
Then just go thru the pages (obviously skip all the anzio pages until you find it being different map names). Then go visit the server, etc....

Lots of those maps I'm finding it difficult to find even on google. So best to just join the servers (or find out if they have websites) and download the maps straight off of there, seperately.

I believe dod_battlecreek is a Halo map converted to CSS and then converted to DoDS.

I have descriptions of all the maps on my website. When ever the full website is released you'll be able to read about all those maps and see pics.
