might bare some similarity but i assure you its the orange badge that all Felgendermerie wore on thier uniforms.

OH and Kommie ? as far as I know there were NO special Decals on the helmets for Feldgendarmerie troops, the same decals as Whermact or SS depending with which they served.

Looks nice! I'm not that a knower off the history, but I saw a soldier with that shield in BOB part x (one off the lasts) and was wondering what kind of soldier that was. Now i know. Never to old to learn.

I am positive, a quick google shows re-enactors portraying Feldganderm troops with regular helmets, I also have a collection of Dragon Models action figures accurately re-created to a 1/6th scale, two of these are Feldgenarm troops and nethier of them have any decals other then the standard Whermact ones.

I know that there were however some Waffen SS fendgendarm units and they would have the proper SS insignias on thier uniforms and headgear.

unlike the Luftwaffe or the Waffen SS they did not have a specific crest on thier helmets for thier branch of service.


( the Gorget ( the chain ) was thier main identifier )

Would you rather see a typical iron helmet or camo?

1. They look great, love the gorget.

2. They should have typical helmets...they are supposed to be police, not front-line fighters, at least in my opinion.

Those look very impressive. The gorget (Ringkragen) looks simply amazing.

Kommie, my vote is for iron hemets with that skin. I know there are others that prefer an SS version. Maybe you might consider a 2nd version with the tunic shown on the bottom of this link http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/austria/673/Feldgendarmerie/uniforms.htm Just a suggestion for the future but I love these as they are. (I sure wish we could have a different model for each map lol)

^^ I think hes on the right track just going with the Whermacht Feldgendarmerie, I like the SS stuff but in that case he might as well just make SS skins.

That and after '44 didnt the SS Feldgendarm units stop wearing the gorgets and identifying features and just become absorbed into the waffen SS?

I know the Camo is popular, But ide rather see a full set of Field Grey Feldgendarmerie troops then ones in camo with SS runes.

That is of course my opinion, im sure a SS feldgendarmerie set would fly just as well as the grey ones.

looks nicebut i really dont like that big "Bling Bling" hanging from his neck :-/

The "Bling" are gorgets, if you dont like them then they dont have that distinct look they were famous for. ... the only differance (w/o the Gorget ) between these guys and thier Infantry counterparts would be orage pipeing and a orange Eagle badge and Cuff title, I think the Gorgets look really cool.
