I was feeling bored one day, so I decided to modify the default Wehrmacht texture and make it slightly more historically accurate. I've spent about 5 hours on this (as apposed to 30 minutes on my Splinter camo sleeve) and feel a small amount of pride for what I've accomplished with my lack of skillz. so far, I've given the uniform a slightly greenish hue, added an OberSchutze patch (http://img449.imageshack.us/img449/5011/obergefreiter6se.jpg) (which is probably too large, I couldn't find any pictures of it being attached to a uniform), added a wehrmachtadler (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/8654/wehrmachtadler7xz.jpg) onto the left breast, (poorly) reskinned the helmet (both outside (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/903/newhelmet3sz.jpg) and inside (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/9838/lining2jl.jpg)), added collar tabs (http://img420.imageshack.us/img420/4682/collartabs1vj.jpg) (which I incorrectly distorted :\), made the hands a bit paler, and saturated the boots. I plan on doing a couple of other things to it, but for now I thought I'd post it and see what everybody thinks. hopefully you'll agree that it's not as bad as my sleeve skin. :p
sorry for the poor pics, I run at 800x600 for preformance reasons, and when I took these I was getting occasional lag spikes, so I had to take what I could get.
