allies_full / axis_full

I have followed other threads and now have a working mod for DOD:S.
Inside hammer everything looks great, textures are there, entities are there.. no errors on compiling!

The problem is that when I run the map I get to the main DOD selection screen, select 'Axis' and get the message

Axis_Full

on the screen ( where console messages appear )

At this point all I can do is go into camera mode and roam the map..

This is obviously something I am doing wrong, I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction..

Thanks!

Did you place any info_player_allies or info_player axis down? You need those to spawn in the map.

If you have used info_player_allies and info_player_axis entities I would look at your console again and see if there is a message in red along the lines of invalid allies spawn (123,-320,292) etc

if a spawn entity is touching some brush or entity they will often not work.

of course thats assuming your using info_player_axis and not a player info_plater_start :D

hope this helps

EDIT

Damn D4rkD0g, beat me too it

Also, add as many spawn points as there will be players on your map. It never hurts to have extra, but if you only have 5 on each side, then only 10 guys will be able to play that map...

Thanks for your help chaps..

It actually turned out that my info_player_axis and allies entities were sitting just a tiny bit below ground level..

one I raised them up, bing.. straight in there!

Thanks again for the help and replies, very much appreciated!

Now I think I am ready to create a driveable helicopter with laser guided bunker busters and personel carrying capabilities.
