More Normal Map Problems

I'm having some trouble with a couple of my normal maps. So far, it's a modified map for Higgin's 3rd ID and an original map for the hedgehogs. They end up in game with a checkerboard pattern. Half is the normal mapped normal texture and the other half is kinda of green black. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it? The maps are made and installed exactly the same way as the others I've made that work just fine.

-double check your .vmt file. make sure the textures are named properly and the directories are correct.

If its fine, id suggest remaking the normal map you couldve had some sort of problem.

Past that, your pretty much on your own to figure it out.

Thanks, I think I found the problem.

Jed's normal maps for the US models doesn't seem to work with Higgins 3rd ID skin.

I reinstalled them, too.

Just me?

Jed's worked fine for me with Higgin's skin. Higgin's own map and my modification of Jed's were the ones I was having trouble with. I remade the .vmt file, though, and I'm not having any more problems with the modified Jed's map.

Mine should work fine for any skin as long as its based on the default texture. As your not editing the UV map it wont affect it.
