Please can som1 help me if this is a repost im srry didnt show up once and these are some of my first posts on steam forums. anyway 2 the subject.

My maps wont work! all the regular maps like avalanche and flash. do not work everytime i try and go 2 one of the servers it says that my map differs from the servers map. i have tried 2 go 2 steamapps and delete the map file therefore i could download it from the server but i cant seem 2 find it. i am stuck playing custom maps which isnt all tht bad but since they dont play customs 24/7 im usual there for only one map cycle.

Plz help me!!! i really want 2 play flash and avalanche since imo they are the best maps plz plz plz help!!!

You don't download standard maps for a server.

Make sure you DoD is upto date though steam first.

A) Make sure your game settings are set to "Always keep this game uptodate"

B) bring up your windows explorer and type

steam://validate/300

It will check the validity of your gcf file. If it's corrupt/incomplete, it'll force the download.
