Nice to see people going for different regiments rather than just doing a hundred SS reskins like in pervious versions.

Keep it up fella :)

I notice that your Splinter camo lacks the small green strips, mind if I (try to) add them?

Always liked the Luftwaffe/Fallschirmjaeger camo patterns, good work.

No absolutly feel free to modify this skin as much as you like.
However the green stripes are present, it's just that when the texture was shrunk down and put ingame they don't become visible, here's a section of my base texture (which had to be re-colorized a bit because it's so bright because of the flash on the camera)

oh, hey, I see them now. wow, they're barely visible. I'm gonna be a lazy sod and decide to not do what's already been done. :p

Zoring...amazing stuff! This is just what I was looking for, and to be honest I never thought anyone would do it so quickly for Source. Did you do the Luftwaffe field division skins for DOD? I used those for quite a while, and if you did, congrats. They were great.

Do you plan on taking this further? Or do you plan on doing a wide variety of skins that are off the beaten track? If so, I'd love to see you redo all of the classes in a HG Division pack. That would be awesome, for me, for obvious reasons. I have every known reference (every one known to me, at least) for the HG Division, if you need any scans.

If you don't want to do that, that's fine. I definately encourage you to do more work though, along these lines. Your work is top notch!

Thanks for the comments everyone, to FPKHG i did some skin hackjobs back in the beta days, but nothing recently for ye olde dod.

For the Herman Goering division weren't they Fallschrim? if not send us some references and i'll see what i can do. The problem with doing SS/Specific Divisions is that the sleeve texture is mirrored, so the Eagle/Arm Band is going to be on both sides of the sleeve :( Unless someone figures out how to fix it of course!

I'd love to make skins for every class but at the moment you have only 1 skin for the entire team! every class shares the same skin. Hopefully in the next release the DoD team fixes this, or someone will invent a workaround.

Also if anyone has any ideas and references for certain unique divisions/camo's chuck em up somewhere here and we'll see what can be done.

The arm sleeve...that sucks. But, it isn't your fault. We can just chuck that idea out the window, anyway, as if you were to put a camo on them it would cover up the sleeves.

The HG Division wore the Luftwaffe blues just like the Luftwaffe field divisions. They also used the Luftwaffe camo, but were also issued Waffen SS smocks early on in their history. These men were captured in Tunisia, though, so modeling them wouldn't make since.

I'll get some color shots if I can, and I already have some black and whites. But, I'm sure you want color. I'll scan them tomorrow, and have em up by tomorrow night.

In the meantime, here's some googled pics:
