Hey everybody,
I started this map about 5 days ago and now I'm releasing it.
It's based on dod_tiger.
This would also be my submission to the UC map contest.

looks good, but the streets are a tad too clean

wow 5 days, dont expect a masterpeice. one thing i noticed was the flags look a little close together.

Actually, this map is bigger than Tiger... so the ya think the flags are a little close together? The flags in this map are alot farther apart than the original. :p

Nah, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, myself... but I would have to say it's one of the nicer (or nicest?) maps *I* have ever done.

hehe that's what I thought...but I like this look ...it's refreshing.

Think of it this way... the fighting forces have only just arrived and they forgot their artillery :)

its not a big deal about the clean streets. but u should add some sandbangs on the more open sections. such as in picture 4 and 6. and maybe the house dead ahead in photo 8 could use some sort of roof? not important. and also, in picture 5, the flags do look a little close together. are u sure they are father apart than in tiger? I havent played tiger in a while, but in that picture, they look pretty darn close

i havent played the map yet, but it looks like a nice job. good work

Well, it's really just "wish I could make maps in 5 days"... because I just made the map. Only time (and testers/players) will tell if it's any good.

...but so far the critics say it's good :P

btw, for those of you have been "patiently" waiting, there's a map update on the kettle.

I've only played expire_b3 and my map on it so far.

But you make large, awesome maps... which also happen to look really good.

I've made O.K. maps that look O.K. and are relatively medium-to-small in size.

lots of bugs and bad mapping, like the allies can mg the spawn exit, but the sky, or the cliipping you have dropped to the tops of the walls prevent all nades from going over the wall towards the axis first to kill the spawn camper, plus the allies can stand on the roofs by the axis spawn and rape them that way too, but it takes some doing as the clipping is horrible and blocks most shots

Yes, the can put up an mg. You have wonderful observation skills! It's not like they couldn't do that already. I guess you have the same criticism for Buzzard when he let the Axis put up an mg by their spawn exit/by their first flag?

That's why there's more than one spawn exit from the Axis... have you even played the map at all? Besides which, look at the original Tiger... it was a "classic" and both sides only really had 1 exit.... With people spawn camping all the time. What's the big deal?

rape them? I didn't know that this was a thing you could do in the game... seeing as how they're all guys... that would certainly make the game interesting.

Well, I plan to fix that in next release anyway.... I'm not gonna let anyone access that part of the roof except the area "infront" of the bell tower.

hey guy, if I didnt play the map how would I know this?

The big deal is your 5 day map needs fixing, YOU CAN"T throw a nade over the wall and down the alley to kill the ally with the MG spawn killing, thats the big deal, wow your dense, next time take ten days, play test, and fix, rinse and repeat.

I was the first person to give you some real feedback about the map and you act like you dont care about it.

For one thing, you were hard to understand. So maybe make sense next time.
No, if there's one thing about me, it's that I take all criticism into consideration, good and bad... It's just that most of what you said (that I could understand, anyway) has already been said before.

Ok. Let's go through your points.

1) What's wrong with an allies setting up an MG? Looking at the kettle stats, the Axis seem to win more the allies anyway (so far). What's the problem?

2) I honestly have no idea what you said here.

3) That's why there's a wall there.

4) It's supposed to block shots. What's the problem?

Are you referring to trying to find a server?

I've checked the link twice from two different places.... it works fine. And if you're trying to find a server to play it on... there's a number of them out there (Kustom Kettle, Band of Beavers, etc) that has the map working.
