Does anyone have a handy like of images of Normandy houses. Specifically from countryside. Maybe a few farmhouses, but also a few normal residences. Ive tried a few pages, but I didnt find what I specfically was looking for. Im not that knowledgable of the entire are, but maybe houses found near the hedgerows and such?
any single pictures, pages of pictures...whatever u may have, i would greatly appreciate it.

You might be able to find some on this website. The "Normandy 44 then and now" section is great, someone went back and took photos from the same angles as the WW2 photos. It really brings the pictures to life when you see what it was in 44' and what is still standing today.

Yea that site is great. Check out the destroyed towns section. Theres some color photos of Staint Lo. The amount of damage done there is insane.

Quite inspiring. Gives me a few ideas for my maps too, when looking at the architecture.

Wow this is a perfect site, I think I'm going to base my next map on one of these, The Cherbourg ones are interesting, nothing like dod_Cherbourg lol, except the rail bridge maybe...

This is another really good site I found today. Lots of rare pics and some pretty weird ones also. Ill warn you now that some of the pics on this site are gory.

Neutrino I have some great touristic guides, acquired by my family from 1915 til l 1940. I already shared some pics with the official mappers. If you can precise where in Normandy your map takes place, I should be able to provide you with some historically as well as geographically accurate pics of farmhouses.
Let me know

I'd love to see this made into a DoD map (http://www.6juin1944.com/album/villes/index.php?id=23)

Try the CS map port. It's really hard on PC's though...

Yeah that map's not bad, in looks I mean. It's freaking small though. Anyways, a DoD map of that, a little bigger and more railyarish and It'd be a winner :D . Like DoD_koln but with a port.
