DoD Source Icon Sprites
I thought I would take the DoD Source Icon and make some player icon sprites and obj icons. But for some ungodly reason, I cant get the transparency to work on the obj icons. Check out the pic below:

Anyone wanna give it a shot and make the black around the obj icons transparent?

Its possibly to do with how their told to render them in the HUD code?
You know, that might be what's wrong. I do use a custom hud along w/ it's own hud text. I'll delete the custom hud and its text and try that.
I've made a ton of obj icon sprites w/ transparency but this is the first time I couldnt get it to work.

To be honest I only ever made one sprite for HL1/DoD so Im probably talking out of my arse as usual.
Do you set the render mode in the sprite or via code? Im assuming the ones over the heads are rendered as additive but I dont know about the objective icons. Maybe you have to use the blue transparent trick for models/brush textures and set the right rendermode flag for them.
I use render mode on all the sprites I make. The blue transparent trick is just making blue the last color in the 256 bmp scale. You can use any color as long as it's the last color on the scale. I've done that already but still doesnt work.
