can i use my 3.1 crosshari with 1.0?

i hope they have custom crosshairs dissabled, when i replaced my crosshair in 3.1 my accuracy shot up ^^^^ and thats not fair to some ppl that dont have it, that need it....well actually i dont really care if they allow them, i just wanna paly dod

They probably will allow you to change your crosshair, I dont see why they wouldnt let you

the 1.0 x-hair looks just fine to me. It actually looks like the x-hair i'm currently using. :)

It may not work the same in 1.0, since there is no swaying in the crosshair anymore. Who knows.

I'd personally like to change mine to a circle-dot.

I dont mind the crosshair, except it seems too big to me, like the cs crosshair. I like them smaller for better accuracy.

Yah its just like my current one too. Mines got the green outer lines with a red dot in the middle. I can only play bots though so no real advantage over anyone.

btw, they are allowing custom crossharis, billy said that in another post

i just want to know if i can use the oens i have now or if someone is gonna have to convert

Hopefully we can use custom crosshairs. The new one is so CS-ish

i hope 1.0 has a whole lot of crosshairs to choose from..

Imo the 1.0 crosshair is really good.

Less realistic than the old one, but better for gameplay anyway.

yup...and i also hope that you can choose from differents x-hairs!

if the you cant use 3.1 someone will make a custom one for 1.0

i think we should give the new ones a chance, cus the 3.1 defaults i found for some reason, i couldnt hit anything with :(

I hope they disable crosshair changes for the sake of everyone playing with the same one, but I doubt it will happen.

The new one looks okay, I liked 2.0/3.0's better, but at least this one has a dot so you know exactly where the bullets are going :D

well will there be the possibility to change the cross to a blue one again ? well if not i will have to quit playing Dod cuz I'm kinda red-green colorblind and the blue cross was just fine for me. so i hope u thought of me as a member of a disadvantaged group :)

Me too. I don't like legs on crosshairs anymore. To me, a circle-dot is just the same as a plus-dot, except it looks more aesthetically pleasing. That's why I'll try and replace it eventually. If it's not possible then no biggie, but I'm sure it is. :)

I think we should be thankfull that we have crosshairs! If the Dev Team ever wants to take it a step up, they could force us to use ironsights type aiming.

yeah i personally like the 3.0 crosshairs better! they're more realistic and resemble aimer at the end of the gun! They new one seems a bit ot big and close to the gun also! I don't like the old fasion arcade style X-hairs! They remind me of CS too much!!

I definitely agree with ya DD. I much prefer the x-hair in 3.0/1 than the one portrayed in the various screenshots released. But no worries my friend! Custom sprites and so on are not just gonna disappear with the upcoming release, they're here to stay! :)

now ive gone and hunted down the picture of the new m1 garand and the new crosshairs, i have to say, thank GOD for these new ones :D i ahted the original 3.1 ones i couldnt hit ANYTHING, these look MUCH better! :D
