Model clipping

ok, one of my biggest pet peeves about dod mappers is that not many spend a lot of time on hitboxes, and everyone complains about them. so, i started working on a map and realised i needed some models. i got the hitboxes part, and found myself working almost a half hour on the hitboex for a tank (they are just about perfect). so i figure if not many other people will spend the time needed for this, il give them mine

in the zip there are:
88 flak
US jeep
US truck
Tiger Tank
Barbed Wire (it hurts, and you can walk through it)
Forts
SandBags - model 1
Wooden Barrel
French Car
most of these took me a while to do, if you use them, you can credit me, but if you forget i honestly dont care...

I assume you mean clipping. good work. I haven't checked out your work, but I too am frustrated by bad model clipping in some maps.

If you're talking about the original model zoo that thing is junk. It was for stuff from 1.0 and a lot of it is inaccurate or no longer exists at all.

i have my own model zoo, its good whenever you clip a model to do it right and add it to your zoo :P saves so much time

LOL. Wait until you want to make a prop_physics model in your map but allow a player to walk on it - they tell me about not worrying about hit boxes ;) Trust me, that UBoat has had me headbutting the desk a LOT.

yea ... clipping in source seems kinda random all depends on the model.
I put a sink in a map and it was fine. I can walk stright through the bath though.
So much to learn in source :|
