Anyone have a good animation tut for XSI?
I tried to use a default biped skeleton, and thought I was doing OK until I got to the feet. I couldnt get the legs to move with out the knees and feet moving all around while moving the upper leg.

Anything would be helpful. Thanks , billynair

I need the animation part, after the rigging. I have a rigged biped, but, can not get the legs to move right. I am trying to do a simple walk... but I am used to MilkShapes way where moving the hip/thigh-bone does not affect the angle of the knee.

I try it in XSI and the rotating the thigh bone (from the hip) will raise the foot, but the knee bends proportionatly with the hip.

If that link is telling me something I am missing, sorry for the trouble, but this is frustrating me. I really need to learn a "real" 3D program (I failed an interview for a job at a game company because all I knew was MilkShape not Softimage/3D-Max/Maya - exact 3 he mentioned) and since PickItUp's post, I decided it was time to learn. I have a $50 book that I just bought, and it is a little too much, I just need a quick dirty, here is how to make your rig walk. (FREK, I get carried away to easy in my replys, Iwill stop now... THANK YOU, Jed, you have always been cool)
