I worked alot today on my upcoming 12thSS set and was able to edit a model and give it some m42 ankle boots with gaiters here is a picture. I still have alot of work to do on the set redoing all the camo including the one in the pic. The faces are from sargent smashs pack and the field grey is captain higgins the camo is mine.

Yeah and what in the name of god are gaiters?

Gaiters are those things that wrap around your legs from your ankles to your knees, commonly used today by skiers and snow boarders, mountain climbers, bush men etc.

A serious question though, is this a serious release, as in did Germans really use gaiters in WWII or is this another funneh release by flammenwerfer (like his 'nakie' Axis player models)

My SS Gerbisjager have mountain boots with gaiters. You can get those at the dod editing center.

When I was in the Navy I always thought the uniforms looked way better with gaiters, would like to see how they look on your models.
