Yeah, it seems to crash our server (which is Linux) inexplicably..... Before I tried asking this in the server forum, I thought I'd ask here first...
Anyone in contact w/ the maker of this map, btw?

If it's a Linux server, then I'd say you have a file that's not spelled correctly. For example, if the map is looking for "TNT.mdl", but the actual file on the server is in lower case, i.e. "tnt.mdl", then the server will crash. I've had this map on the KK various times so contact me directly and I'll send you a working "package" . . .

Yeah, I think something must have gotten corrupted because it worked fine for a while.
I'll PM you, tx! :)

Does the server crash the instant it attempts to load Snowcity, or does it crash at random while people are playing?
If it crashes during the load phase, then the best tool to pinpoint the cause is HLSW. Change the map, then immediately go to console in HLSW. It'll tell you what file, if any, corrupted the load.
If that doesn't work, then I tend to agree with Sword. It took me awhile to figure out why our Fast DL banner wouldn't load, and it was due to the server looking for Banner.gif instead of banner.gif

Great suggestion Bocasean! We have a winner!
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): WARNING: couldn't open dod_merderet.wad
Musta deleted it somehow.

Awesome. Glad it worked out. It took me two months to pay attention to that and figure it out. In the time before that there were many maps that wouldn't load and I couldn't figure out why, all because I missed a file in the .res or ResGen simply didn't call for it.
