hey, how can i put cameras into a map? like in CS, and that assult map with the truck and cameras in it. how can i make those?

the camera was a very rare thing in 1939-45...... and they only recorded to film which most certainly couldnt be relayed live*

I believe the only way a "motion" picture could be shown was directly played off the film via a projector. ww2 me a river

huh? well... the purpose of the camera is to be able to see atop view down of a maze. its for a training map, not an actual playing map.

well, if you are just trying to show the maze, it doesn't have to be live, right? just make a texture that shows what you want and stick it on the wall.

in my map I wanted to give a hint as to where to take the tnt, so I took my overview, cut out the portion I needed, drew an arrow on it , then turned it into a texture. its now a map hanging on the wall near the tnt.

i guessthat could work... but could i make it live? so the "instructors" could see exactly whats going on, and where the player is.

if camera's like you want are possible, then go for it, but why not just have them spectate. if they need to talk to the guy, just use teamspeak or some other external chat program.

I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but I've never seen it done in dod, so I'm offering alternatives.

yea i know, but again, it isnt for an actual "playing" map, this is meant for trainign purposes, and i need the camera cause the instructor needs to be in the "control room" to changethewall positions. is kinda complicated... butineed to figure out how to do it first. thanks anyway!
