I am a very keen funmap maker. I have been making funmaps for CS:S and CS for a very long time now. (Well not CS:S). And have recently started making them for DoD.
Is there a .FDG file I can download to make maps for Source?
If there isn't can Valve give us one?
Thanks,

there won't be one until dod:s is released.
No info as yet. When it is released, it will likely be posted here first. Keep your eyes peeled. Until then, feel free to read through the stickies and the forum rules. Always good to be in-the-know ;)

i'd rather be mapping for dod:s using HL2DM for now. if you use the dod:s .fdg, you'll have all the dod entities like the spawns and flags, but no dod:s to test them in, and with those entities and no HL2DM (or CS:S) entities you won't be able to test it ingame anyway.

you dont exactly need the FGD... all brushwork can be done... if the pov is a big weirded brushwork can be edited (:
