I am using the hill model in my map and because of the placement, the origin is in shadow. could someone do me a favor and reorigin it up near the top? anywhere near the top of the model should be fine.

i believe you can set models to disable shadows and also i dont know how your lighting is but i remember when i first started i had no shadows because the angle of my lighting was wrong so the wwhole map was one tone,

Disabling shadows is the disabling of the entity creating a shadow with the ZHLT2.2 and above I think. I know what you want with the hill...I may have a re-origined one myself, but I'll have to look for you. (belfort had a modified hill model, but it uses a custom texture too...but I might have the source around here somewhere.)

yeah, I read somewhere about the latest zoner tools being able to do that. I'll check into that as well. I don't mind if the texture is different, that is easy enough to change with model viewer. thanks for looking into it for me.

random: the rest of the map is fine. I am using a fairly steep angle on the light to get very long shadows. that is why I'm having trouble keeping the origin out of shadow.
