ok, so when i go to carve a piece out of my wall it carves it, but some pieces turn into a never ending wall.... now, i could to and make it with a bunch of pieces, but im lazy so i wanna know if there is an easyer way to make it, or if i have to use a bunch of pieces... cause i will do that if its the only way...

It's okay to use carve for rectangles.

LOL...

i found 1 use for it that dont screw anything up!!!

i made a wall with a angled end, but i realised i needed it to be longer... so i made a rectangle and put it in the middle of the wall and use the carve... so now i have the 1 end with the angle that dont change, and the peice on the end that i can make bigger / smaller! i win! :-P it isnt TOTALY useless

Even then it could be more efficient if you do it yourself, then you know where each brush is that you've placed and will be able to call upon them if problems occur. You can also control the splits in them this way.

The Carve tool should be banned and anyone found using it should be hunted down with dogs and shot.

The End.

I previously had made my own personal version of Hammer that I reshacked so there was no longer a carve tool option :p But it's not really allowed, and I can't distribute it...too bad it's not an open source project.

so wait...how does one make a hole between two areas...like if I make two big brushes, 2 rooms you know? they're adjacent and I want there to be a door way between them...how do I punch the hole?

Yes, it could be more efficient. If want to make a hole for a window in a simple wall, for example, you can use carve.
