ok, i know there is a setup guide sumwhere, but cant find it... help with setting up my source hammer PLEASE

I went through the setup on mardymouse. very easy to follow.

ok, so i followed EXACTLY what the thing said, and i get an error:
gameinfo.txt does not exist in D:\Common\Steam\SteamAPPS\my@account.com\Half-Life 2 DeathMatch\hl2mp.

when u launch the SDK window u can choose to refresh SDK content and reset game configs. Run both of those then launch HL2DM. Close it and re open hammer and it should work.
I had this the first time i launched the SDK after the new update :(.

ok, so it worked for hl2: dm, but not cs:s or hl2.. WTF!!!! i tried doing both those thigns with hl2 selected, and didnt work, same with cs:s

did u do that same procedure for both? refreshing game content and resetting configs ect?

weird, i only had it for cs source after the last update. After doing that it seemed to work fine :(.

grrr.... il try uninstall/reinstall on the SDK, maybe that will work unfortunately, im at school, so i cant do for another 6 and a half hours...

gggrrrrr.... i uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, and did all the staps all over again, and it DIDNT work!!!! could sum1 make a zip of the SDK and get it hosted sumwhere for me PLEASE... i REALLY wanna do some single player mapping
