[WIP] My first map

This wil be my first map for public release and not just for film making or stuff like that.
What i did was try to make a map based around the city of carentan. I took topographical maps to look at the geography of the area, then from that i created a fictional city to work in.
I'm planning to add scripted events to block off certain routes such as smoke stacks falling which is have to read into some more. I've kind of stopped working on it until dod:s comes out, but I'm going to put in the basic blocks to lay everything out this week, you can see ive already started in the ss's.
Also youll find pics of a model overridden flea market. pur fps killer, ill have to cut atl east 80% of the models out but it looks good for the time. Maybe ill pull off some sort of hint bursh trick.

I don't remember any hydroelectric dams in Carentan. Unless they are using those turbines for another purpose.

But what are they supposed to be? Are you going to have DoD turbines there? Storage tanks? What?

Ill have to wait for some more tools to come out since i need to work on the models themselves. The ones they have wont fit so im thinking of just making a whole big model that will fit the area instead of legoing them together.

why not just edit the building to fit the trusses? if its a big area with the trusses it will be better to have them seperate because say someone is outside with lots of other props visible and their POV can just see thru the window and a bit of the truss the whole model will draw for them. bad.
