What and where can I find the BEST models for DoD? I looked on DoDec, but a lot of the models that were ranked 9 or more, well, were ugly. Hi-Res skin, with less textures on the gun?!

This model is the kind I like, however. Do you know if someone made a re-skin that looks like this for every gun? What are the best models for each gun?

Splinter's done a Hi-Res re-skin for just about every weapon, so just look for stuff by him @ DODEC.

Yeah I know Splinter did some good work, but (sorry to say that!) a lot of them are not so good...

I think that Splinter's skins are excellent, but he needs to work on his animating skills, and some modelling skills wouldn't hurt either. ;)

I think you guys should be thanking him no matter what. He put in the effort to make high qaulity models and skins and you rip them apart like you can do better yourself.

Ta splinter, your High Rez garand and kar have served me well.

honestly, never found a problem with splinter's skinning work.

if I'm not mistaken, at one stage he was begging for people to do so.

You could at least show some respect considering how long Splinter has been a contributing member of the MSA community and the sheer number and level of quality of his releases.

He's one of only a handful left who actually still make custom DoD skins of the highest quality.
