As a few of you know, i'm working on a conversion to convert DoD's fine British Troops to todays britain urban underlcass. I've been working on this skin today. Thing is, the Shirt ends really high up near the waist, so I put a bit of the shirt texture where the leg texture should be so the shirt goes down the leg a bit more, so it doesn't look like it's tucked in. There's one small problem.

There's a little white line at the front of the shirt, I thought I could fix this by making the 2 different textures the same colour, but it still didn't work, I can't seem to get rid of the damn line. Is it the way the model is, or Is there something wrong with the skin. It's a minor problem that kind of ruins the shirt a bit.

On topic....Heh, I know it's amateurish, but I'm a nub, so it's the concept that counts.

I could use some criticism/advice about the skin so I can make the final version much better when I compile all of the Chav Total conversion content together and release the Pack.

You should really change their faces to something more young though. Other than that, the Reebok sweatpants and Nike socks and shoes are a nice touch.

ps - chav is a British term for white people who act (or try to) like black gangstas, AKA Ali G (but Ali G is the only cool chav).

looks too old imo but looks good. dunno how to fix that white line though,

I have no idea how to fix the line, but you could give the models a different shirt that would downplay it. Like a darker shirt or one with stripes.

And I just thought of something that might go well with your pack. A gold reskin of all the default weapons. A gangsta gots to have his gold.

As for the hatred thing, it's hard to like someone after you get smashed over the head with a plank of wood and then booted on the floor by one. My house has also been robbed 4 times by little Charv *******s.

@ Supernova. Too bloody right mate, how people call them working class is beyound me. If standing in line for your dole payout is a job I'll agree with them, but as far as I know it ain't.

oh :crown::crown::crown::crown: they have invaded dod now we have them on the street corners an in the shopping centers holy crap i say nuke them i hate there gutts but nice model i will enjoy killing this CHAV!! :)

ps theres a lot of them where i live.... i say nuke them but the do gorw out of it thank god

Btw, I think Chav is used from the Jiddisch alfabeth were Chaver means 'friend'.
In holland we have equivalents called 'gabbers', also from the Jiddisch (and it also means 'friend').

Charver is also an old English slang term for 'tea boy' I believe.

I guess that's it then. I was just speculating and thereby: I'm Dutch. :)

Mabye, the tea boy thing doesn't make sense to me though. Back when you'd say something like that most 'tea boys' would of been black or Indians (where most of the colonies were back then). You're average Charv is an over weight white kid with a skin head :p
