I downloaded the three video tutorials and did the first one. When i finally ran the thing it looked fine and dandy until killed myself with a grenade and noticed that my player model didnt have a skin! Just the render! What did i do wrong?

I had the same thing.

It seems to happen when you start a normal game from the console...I dunno when else it happens

you started your server with map mapname, you should have gone to multiplayer -> langame -> create game (or something like that)

i use map commadn because it's faster...if you REALLY have to see the skin, developer 1 to console and you'll see it
