OK a VERY long time ago I started messing around making a lewis gun and an mp40. As you can tell I never finished them but I have some free time on my hands and might go back to them.

What I'm asking is:

Is there any point?
Can I get help with the animations/skins?

BTW don't bother flaming me, I'm Northern Irish and that means I don't care if this thread closes, I will flame back.

If you can get them finished, they are deffinetly worth releasing, I can host them on DoDEC if you want it...

They look good Jojo, but i think that the magazine on the MP40 is too wide and so is the 'thing' it goes into.

Yeah I remember many moons ago talk of an uber pack between you and marzy, and my lewis was going to be used as the low poly world model... HUH HUH, BEACH!

I had one compiled for DoD but it was going to be used for a mod im working on so i didn't release it but maybe :P

And jed... That's one of the most detailed lewises EVER ... WOW
and it looks like it got 10,000 polys too ;O

The lewis could be a great replacement for the bren if only somebody could reanimate it...

I forget how many polies it is, too many probably. I have a 5000 poly version (pre-unseen face removal) that could probably have the high poly version rendered onto it as a texture or a normal map.

They look a bit blocky.. You should play more with the smoothing next time, mabey not use so much smoothing. Like on the MP40 pipe.
