MWIP - Italian Brithish ReSkin

After Italy's armistice in 1943 with the Allies, the army split into the nazi loyal RSI, and the Co-Belligerants, or Army of the South with their loyalties staying with the king.

The Army of the South was largely supplied by their new British allies, making them look rather British themselves. So I plan on doing a re-skin of the default British player models to resemble the Bersagliere Bn. of the Legnano Combat Group. I chose the Bersagliere because of the distincive plumes of feathers they displayed on their helmets, and the rather elite status of the Bersagliere in general.

All I've done so far is to put the plumes on their helmets, but it will be no large task to add the proper insignia and what-not. I'd be interested to find out how many people are interested in Italian player packs, becaues I have big plans for the future. So I'll release this little job as a prelude towards whats to come.

So, what? Nobody cares about Italian player models? Should I jsut quit now? I'm not really surprised though, few of my releases have ever gotten much interest from the community.

Anyway, I'm still going to release this pack, so if anyone actually is interested, you can look foreward to that.

I'm not terribly interested in the prospect of Italians. However, go for it, you are still doing it for yourself and for some people who appreciate it.

lol it does kinda look like a fern is growing on their helmets.

I dont think its that people dont like you or your work, its just that the bulk of the people who come here, come here for high poly versions of the normal models and skins.

I often feel my rather off brand of customizing is often overlooked and under appreciated around here. I could make another garand that looks slightly different than the dozen others already out there, and people would download it like crazy. (by the way, look out for my custom garand to be released soon) But god forbid I try something different, like promote interest in an obscure topic like the Italian contribution to the war.

It's ok though, things like blue and gold german flags, tommy guns with no stock and knifes strapped on, and italian player packs are things I enjoy doing and using. So nuts to everyone who doesn't care, neither do I.

Don't get discouraged and stop making this stuff. Some real life uniforms are rather odd looking and to me these fit that description. Some people however will probably like them. While I probably won't use this set as released I will almost certainly download it because more than likely there will be something included that I can use to customize my own models. I customize my personal models using parts and textures from other models. That's why I like your stuff because there's usually something included that I like. I used several parts from your winter set on my models in beta 3.1. I particularly liked your camo covered German helmet. If I remember correctly that helmet was also released seperately along with quite a few other accessories that turned up in a number of quality releases. Personally I'd like to see more of that kind of stuff. Helmets, caps, goggles, boots etc. and different texture sets to go along with them would be much appreciated around here. So while I might not have mentioned it in the past I'd like to say that I for one appreciate what you have to offer to the community.
