ya can count on me! (i love this sentence!:D )
give me a few minutes or hours!
The thompson which was widely used under ww2 was manufactured with 2 sights, first the v-notch later on (at the time which DoD is experienced) they started with the peek sight

All thopmsons had a peep sight, The early 28's and 21's had a adjustable lyman, but later changed to a cheap stamped, peep sight that was just as effective. If any of them have a vee notch it was modified by another country after the war, much like the m1 carbines that were given to the Bavarian forstry police. thought not all of them had the modified sight, many did.
Heres a pic of thompson with original sight.

I was thinking the same thing, Marksman is their anychance you could add those 'wings' (for the rear sight) onto your tommy? No big deal if you can't.

The only thing that would me better than the m1a1 would be a good 28 model BUT NO ONE EVER finishes them WTF? There was one decent one out, I Know they made 28's with that rear sight on the thompson in the pic i posted. why doesn't someone make one like that? Smooth barrel fixed sight 28 very late production, and you should be able to make one from the current thompson without too much work
