Everyone is saying to use the fuc_mortarfield but, where is it? It's nowhere to be seen in the entities list.
Am I missing somthing?

Are you trying to use it with points or solids?
Take an AAA brush and create it above the area you wan't mortars to fall on (like a rain cloud). Then tie it to func_mortar_field and adjust the values.

go to properties then look for the middle tab, flags, then set it to loop.... that should work

Make a trigger_auto (point ent) that targets the mortar field.
Select delay before trigger and that is how long before each bomb falls.

I did exactly what you said but all I get is one mortar. I'm not getting any repeating bombing or anything just one explosion.
What am I missing?

Well what do you want? A big air raid that turns on and off?

no no no, all I want are repeating explosions (like you see in Charlie)
It should be simple but I cant get it to work right.

If you wanna copy charlie, ripent and see what the values are.

I never said I wanted to copy/clone Charlie, I just want to know how to make the func_mortar repeat itself (giving th impression of a continuos (sp?) mortar/airstrike.
Sorry If I'm eating up too much of your time.
Kamakazi wasn't sugesting you want to clone charlie, merely that if you wish to produce a mortar filed that works like the one in charlie, then using ripent.exe to extract the list and properties of all entities in the map would let you study how the entities involved in the mortar filed are used.

Aaaaah
Wise you are
Do as kami said but in the func_mortar's flags make sure REPEATABLE is checked and it should work just fine
