Ok, my first ever attempt of trying to add a skin or do any actual work in Photoshop with a skin. (I used the DoD base skin has a start.) The goal of this was to make it look like a gernade just went off right ontop of it, literally... I think I achived the affect I was shooting for; the problem is that some of you are going to look at it and go "holy ****, thats ugly". I think its ugly too, but it looks wartorn. I gave it to a few people last nite on AIM, to see how they'd like it, and half loved it, half told me to keep trying, and make something nice.

well, every one does :) my goal was to make a skin that looked like trash, because it just got trashed. it actually looks pretty decient in game, if you install it and use it for a bit, it can grow on you. :) ty for the comment

Nice work for a first skin!
It's fun to play around and such. I see you used Color Burn!
For some reason, I don't like that, I enjoy Darken!
Try to make some custom brushes too, to add some cool scratches! But good work man! I'm going to try it out!

Yeah, i was trying to darken the wood at first, but i couldn't get the 2 parts to match up, and that was making me cry. :( so bascially, was like "lets see how bad I can trash this". TY for the comments, alot of people said add scratches to the lense and stuff, i should of.
