Not bad, your certainly getting better.

Just need to master your subdivision skills next so you can add mode details and the like.

8/10 :)

with no bipod, and an mg, they all have bipods because the are meant to be set up on sandbags etc. just sounds a bit odd mg with no bipod.

i think a tripod MG42 would look cool, it would make a change from a bipod MG42.

The whole model looks a bit boxy, but it could just be the flat shading.

Agreed but the proportions look good and when your starting out thinking "low poly" is a good thing rather than going nuts and struggling to get the polycount down.

That said, I just made a vehicle model for source which started at 360,000 polys and I only just got down to 70,000. Hooray for Normap maps I say.

here, gimmie a while. I'll get you some better pics of the bipod, also the bipod could also be attached mid barrel, I'll get ya a pic of that too if you wanna try something different, lol. It looks as if you extended the tip too much, and the cooling wholes are too small, thats whats makeing it look boxy. Did you leave a nice slit on the right side for the barrel to be changed? Also the recieveing tray is a tad long. I'll get some close ups of those when I can, right now I got exams going on, so it'll be maybe a day, lol. Also there are spikes on the bottom of the bipod legs (used to dig into dirt, etc)
