[WIP] dod_base_v2

Well I've been working on the second version of dod_base and are ready to start showing some early screens of the newest version.

Changes so far are


Made all the roads shorter so snipers/mgs won't own to much
Made some areas more open
Fixed Allies not spawning after the first flag near their spawn is capped
Added radio mast and bunker (will be an objective)
Made roads uneven (up/down) to make the map less flat and more realistic seeming


Theres some issues still to be sorted out atm, r_speeds in one picture are an issue and I'm working on that atm. I'm also aware of the texture problem at the top of the hedges so that will be fixed.

Anyway heres the screenies I've got so far and I'll be adding more as they come along :)

drop hedges down 1-2 units to stop the start of the tile showing

Looks good but still wery empty like the other version, no cover
anywhere but guess you are sorting that.
Only thing you should remove so far is the repeated granade
blast decals, looks strange...
Terrain looks much better.

Try to make each area look distict. Right now, most of the map looks pretty much the same. I do like the sloping roads though.

actually they're craters not grenade blast decals ;) Theres alot more cover then it looks, the ditches help alot with cover and so do the big rocks.

Sorry I mistook what you where meaning they're actually the results of an airraid once the allies destroy the radar site, theres 4 strafing runs in total.

FPS wise its fine, though I've got a few r_speed problems to sort out, maps going to be awhile till its released, I've got a new job now and I don't have anywhere near the same amount of spare time I use to so in a few weeks at the soonest most likely
