Hey, I know its been a REALLY long time since my last release, so I've decided to release yet another blood sprite. I made this sprite for The Somme Valley (http://www.sommevalley.com/) but they no longer need it so I'm releasing it to you guys. This sprite is alot more realistic than my previous works, but it's still really nice. This sprite is less visible and it appears and disappears much faster than my old ones. I hope that you guys will enjoy it. If you have any questions or comments just post them! :)

hey i would use it but it a bit too week liek if it was a bit darker and maby some type of dots in it to repersent flesh or some thing liek kinda black thing or soem thing liek on the opaing seen od SPR were there trying to get out of the higgens boats some thing liek that would de sweet.

I've been using this since you posted it, but have not been back here till today.

I really like this sprite. It's obvious when you hit somebody, w/o going overboard. It's fast, simple, but very realistic looking. Each time you shoot someone, your not going to blast off chunks of flesh... but you will get a puff of aerosolized blood. And, that's what this sprite mimics beautifully.

IMHO, it's the best blood-sprite out there.

I'm just curious, but, how do people know what kind of blood sprites are "realistic" or not...

Shouldn't it appear more like dust instead of blood? Due to the bullets hitting the uniform and such. Though having a little blood puff along with the "dust" puff would be nice.

They weren't fighting in a desert...

Blood coming from behind the person would be more realistic, but even that doesn't happen all the time.

you'd be surprised at how little blood is actually sprayed when a bullet hits.

The blood spray looks more arcade style than realistic. But it's still cool. It's alot better than the default blood sprite.

Not bad, as far as blood spray sprites go. I do prefer a dust over blood but I'm gonna use this one for a bit. Good work overall.

i like this one. it's the best blood sprite made for the current version.
