help with model animations

okay, so the problem is this, my cousin didnt like the 1.0 models, so he copied over all the old 3.1 models (weapons only) but now hes got some animation problems, so i was wondering if one of you could perhaps reanimate the 3.1 default models for me and send them 2 me, or just send me the animation file and tell me how to apply it to the model

He shouldn't have had a really big problem except with a couple of the weapons. What weapons are acting up?

its a matter of recompiling, not reanimating

can you explain to me how to do that?
well, only if it isnt overly complicated (meaning i dont actually have to animate, cuz i dont have any problem with tampering with qc files)
