DoD:Source imminent, any1 got some pimpin' work?

Id consider the fact that HL2 will most likely be out on the November or December pretty close. Take the fact it takes a few months to really get a good map going, anyone wanting to start a map for HL2 would probably be starting now, like I have been for a few weeks now.

Youll be able to test a map for dod in HL2 before dod source comes out, maybe minus alot of entity work but thats neither here nor there.

Besides gingerlord, you didnt even answer the question of the post, just picking a arguement on release date. Who cares. Not what I want to talk about.

If someone has some screens of high-poly stuff to strut, lets see em. If no one has anything to show, Ill just delete the thread and ask at a later time.

I have a few 512x512 textures up my sleeve but nothing too exciting. The fact of the matter is I usually dont make textures until they are needed, not just because.

Ive only seen 1 display of some HL2 high poly work (*by IR) so far on the forums, and some cool stuff around the net with a few other people, which is kind of disheartining considering the amount of people who make dod maps.

I think that's because there are no tools nor specs for making maps. You can make high res textures but what about other face attributes ? Same for models.
Also it seems that we have much much more mappers than map modelers and texture artists. At least it's hard to find free one.

i wanna start working on adrenalin and diversion on source, but theres little to work with untill dod:s is released and we can use it as a guide for what we're working towards, and also 'borrow' models and textures.

I'm working steady and hard on high res textures and have done
for a while know.
Some of them I gues you have seen already Watchtower,
but I dont know if I should show any yet...
